Shot taken at Calusa Nature Preserve well worth the trip, even if it was really small. (reminded me of takapusha from back home )
All of the birds here have been rehabilitated but are unable to be released due to their injuries. some are blind, some cannot fly, etc.
It's just another example about how we need to protect our environment, and our animals, and everything.

i've actually been inspired to vollunteer there. we'll see. it's kinda far, but, i figure maybe weekends.. after i leave cvs.
